Something I realized in my research so far is that Costa Rica's key facts are all dated after 1502 when Christopher Colombus "founded" Costa Rica. Costs Rica is in Central America and is known for the many rain forests. One key fact is that on September 15, 1821, Costa Rica gained its Independence from Spain.
